National and Fortius approached us with a bold objective: to unify their corporate image under a modern brand identity that reflects their shared legacy of over 100 years in marine insurance.

Our starting point was a powerful symbol already present in their existing identity: the sextant, a timeless navigation tool. We used it as the cornerstone for a complete rebranding process, highlighting the companies' ability to "chart the right course" in a highly specialized sector.
We created a refined, minimalist version of the sextant and built a cohesive visual system with clear lines, modern typography, and a cool-toned palette reminiscent of open seas. These design decisions brought a sense of precision, clarity, and contemporary elegance to both brands, while preserving the values of knowledge, trust, and professional expertise.
The new identity was applied across all communication touchpoints—from printed materials and stationery to sales presentations and corporate websites. For both National and Fortius, we designed two fully responsive websites based on a shared design system, incorporating simplified visual elements—curves and triangles—that echoed the logo's geometry.
The result is a cohesive, modern brand presence that affirms the companies' leadership in the marine insurance brokerage industry and signals their readiness to navigate new challenges ahead.
